Mile Marker 98.826 Key Largo, Florida.

The Key Largo Moose Lodge building has a rich history dating back to the early 20th century. The building was originally constructed in 1926 as a private residence for a wealthy businessman, who was drawn to the area for its natural beauty and abundant fishing opportunities.
In the 1930s, the property was purchased by a group of local residents who saw the potential for it to become a community gathering place. They transformed the residence into a social club, complete with a bar and dance hall, and named it the Key Largo Moose Lodge.
During the 1940s and 1950s, the lodge became a popular destination for servicemen stationed at nearby military bases during World War II and the Korean War. The lodge also became a hub for local fishermen, offering a place for them to gather, share stories and enjoy a cold beer after a day out on the water.
Today, the Key Largo Moose Lodge continues to be a beloved institution in the community, known for its laid-back atmosphere, friendly staff, and beautiful setting. The lodge has undergone several updates over the years, but it still retains much of its original charm and character. It continues to be a popular destination for tourists and snowbirds seeking a taste of old Florida, as well as for local residents who appreciate the lodge's role in the community's history.
